Kudo's to the VBS Kids at White Plains Baptist Church

White Plains church VBS Kids and Parents donated their VBS offering to Hope Resource Center. As a little incentive our own Board Chairman Tim Thomas, challenged the parents to match the kids donation, and if they did he would shave his head. We appreciate you all so much. May God's blessings continue to be with you all.

TEEN STATISTICS

• The majority of young women become sexually active during their teenage years - the proportion who have had intercourse reaches at least three-quarters by age 20.
• More than half of 17-year olds are no longer virgins.
• Every year 3 million teens - about 1 in 4 sexually experienced teens - acquire an STD. That averages out to more than 8,200 different STD infections daily!
• Every year, at least 800,000 teen girls - 10% of all women aged 15-19 and 19% of those who have had sexual intercourse - become pregnant.
• 40% of those teenage pregnancies end in abortion. That's over 320,000 teen abortions every year!
